The most important appointment of the Grammelese Christmas is undoubtedly the live Nativity of Occhiolà, which arrived this year at the fifth edition.

“The Living Nativity of Occhiolà”, organized by the Association 1693 representation of the Nativity of Our Lord and contextually the representation of daily life in the medieval village of Occhiolà, before it is destroyed by the earthquake of 11 January 1693. A fascinating opportunity to take a step back in time, go back to December 1692, relive the medieval Christmas atmosphere, relive the mother city of Grammichele on its original site.
